HOG WILD MUSIC JAM LINE-UP

The 2008 Hog Wild Music Jam promises a musical line-up like no other. Here are just some of the bands performing:

The Buckinghams: In 1967, this band earned the title “Most Listened To Band in America” with such Top 10 hits as “Kind of a Drag,” “Don’t You Care,” Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,”, “Hey Baby, They’re Playing Our Song,” and “Susan.” They’ve been performing together ever since to loyal fans around the country.

Chubby Checker and The Wildcats have been performing to sold out crowds since the early 60’s. This Grammy Award-winner changed the way America interacted with Rock and Roll beginning with his hit song “The Twist” which got everybody up and dancing, and will have you doing the same.

Dennis DeYoung, formerly of the rock band Styx, was involved in the creation of such unforgettable rock ballads like “Lady,” “Babe,” and of course “Come Sail Away.” After the band sold 17.5 million records in the U.S. alone, Dennis DeYoung went solo in 1999 earning yet another top 10 hit and gold record for his album Desert Moon. Dennis’ voice still has that distinctive sound we all remember.

The Grass Roots starring Rob Grill have been performing together since 1967. This band set a record for being on the Billboard charts 307 straight weeks and are one of only nine bands that have charted 29 or more Top 100 Billboard singles. Hits like “Where Were You When I Needed You,” “Let’s Live For Today,” “Midnight Confessions,” and “Sooner or Later” contributed to their achievement of selling over 20 million records worldwide – including one platinum and two gold albums.

The Little River Band has sold over 25 million records worldwide. After 35 years together, LRB is still giving the fans what they want by touring and performing their original hits such as “Reminiscing,” “Lady,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Cool Change,” “The Night Owls,” and “Take It Easy On Me.”
